Games For 20102(1)

Posted in General by Admin on Jan 16, 2010

This is the finak part on those games that you simply must get next year.

Halo Reach

This game certainly needs to be a lot better than Halo ODST as that truly was a very bad game. This game ia actually going to be the last that Bungie make, Halo related anyway, as they have left Microsoft. However the rights of Halo still lie with Microsoft and they have created 343 Industries to handle future Halo projects. If any fans have read the Halo Reach book then it will no doubt be set around these events and I am thinking it is going to feature more of a squad type game play but this hasn’t been confirmed by Microsoft as of yet.

Final Fantasy XIV

These games have been going for many years now and you would have thought that it has to be over soon. The game itself is of course coming out for the first time on a Microsoft platform which is something that Sony fans are not happy about at all. Apprently the battle and job systems have changed a lot since the previous instalment by putting in the new armoury system. Although the 360 launch will be later than the others it is going to be a huge welcome to any 360 owener.

These are just some of the many games that are actually due out in the New Year. Toys and games are becoming really important every single year and many people are mistaken when they call video games boys toys. One of the best things you can do is actually sit down and find a toy review before you go out and buy something.

so there it is really

Next Generation Consoles?

Posted in General by Admin on Jan 16, 2010

Although it is well worth noting that none of the major companies, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, have actually announced that there will be any new console on the way until at least 2012 it is well worth looking to see just what may be going into the new consoles.

Nintendo

Nintendo are in desperate need on improvements. The Wii is not a great console but Nintendo never promised it would be as successful as any of their predecessors. In fact I think people would agree that Nintendo have not had a decent console since the release of the N64. The Wii has actually outsold both the 360 and the PS3 but in my opinion is the worst console out there as it lacks decent games for the fans and the motion sensing technology does not beat the traditional controlle.

If you remember the Wii s actually only a prototype on what is to come so it will be really good to see what is on the way. Of course Nintendo are going to have to invest in better graphics.

Sony

The PS3 is not a bad console at all but there are still things that can be changed? Well for starters you cannot complain at the graphics however it just seems to lack the decent games that Microsoft have which is why I think they will concentrate on investing time and money in developers over the next few years. It seems like the online play is very bad also.

Microsoft

The Xbox 360 overall is a very good system indeed as it has great graphics and a really good community, does it have faults? It does indeed and it would seem it breaks a lot and could do with a broweser upgrade.

Natal has to be something that is being released instead of a new console?

So perhaps all we need here are a few cable ties a couple of circuit breakers with a dose of deutsch connectors and we could be set for the next generation.

Games You Must Buy Next Year (1)

Posted in General by Admin on Jan 16, 2010

There are so mant games out next year. These are not just boys toys so you ladies can read too and see if there is anything on the way for you.

Dead Rising 2

This is certainly something to look out for next year as Capcom have been working quite hard to make this game better than the first. The location this time is based on the real city of Las vegas and is name Fortune City. The only bad point so far is that Frank West has been replaced by a new guy. The number of zombies you can have on your screen has gone up by a lot from 800 to now just over 6,000. It is crazy to think just how manic the screens are going to look when you actually get to sit down and play this game. Multiplayer will now be included in on this.

Alan Wake

2005 actually saw the year in which this game was announced but it has seen a fair number of delays. Originally the game was going to be made for both windows and Xbox 360 but now it would seem that the windows version of the game has been put in indefinite hold. Basically the game is being released as a “Psychological Action Thriller”. The story is that Alan hasn’t written anything in two years so his wife takes him to the small town of Bright Falls to see if it will inspire him. The strange thing is that when she goes missing he knows it is a story he has written but doesnt remember writing it.

This isnt the end so make sure you check out the second part of the list. Because toys and games are becoming so popular it is best to check out a toy review first.

The game itself was annoucned way back in 2005 so it really has to be an amazing game. Basically the game is being released as a “Psychological Action Thriller”. Xbox Games You Need To Have This Year (Part 3)

Posted in General by Admin on Jan 16, 2010

This is the final part of the games that you have to buy before Christmas Day comes round!

Assassin’s Creed 2

This is the one I am personally waiting just one more day to get simply because I really enjoyed playing the first one through. They have made a lot of major improvements to this game. The only problem I had with the original was that most of the missions were kind of the same but they have improved on this for number two which of course is excellent news. You are able to possess two hidden blades that can kill two people at once as well as being able to take the enemy’s weapons and climb 2X faster than you can in the first game. There was one major problem with the first game and that was that if you fell into the water you would die, well this has been fixed!

The Ballad Of Gay Tony

This is of course the second instalment episode for the popular GTA IV game. Although this add on is actually shorter than the main game in my personal opinion it is a lot better. Parachutes seem to be the major add on to this and they are great fun to use! There are still no planes you can fly around in, remember the boeing in San Andreas. This game feels a lot like Vice City which is why it is such a good game as Vice City has to be the best GTA game.

On top of all of these great games there are more out next year such as Splinter Cell, Final Fantasy and finally Alan Wake. It is also worth thinking about Project Natal.

Toys and games seem to be getting more and more popular as each year passes by which is why you should consider looking into toys reviews before you buy anything. It can be very important that you get those boys toys right.

Everyone who has played this game will know that the missions have been improved and there are now parachutes! The bad point is that there are still no planes that you can fly around in which is a shame. Xbox 360 Games You Have To Get Before Christmas (Part 1)

Posted in General by Admin on Jan 12, 2010

There are many different kinds of toys and games out in time for Christmas but this year it would seem that the games on Xbox 360 need a look into, simply because there are so many.

So here are just a few of the games you simply must get this side of Christmas.

Modern Warfare 2

Although this game was called the best game of the decade and has sold a hell of a lot of copies in just over a week and has been deemed one of the best games of all time. Although this is a game you have to own simply because it is a brilliant game there is no way on earth that this game should be called the game of the decade. The main story is very short at just 6 hours and although it is good it really doesnt compare to Halo or Gears. Although the multiplayer on this game is quite good it just feels the same as every other COD game and will not take Halo 3 and Gears 2 in my opinion.

Borderlands

I was really not too sure on this one when I purchased it as when looking at the game it is all made to look cell shaded. We know how bad those games usually turn out to be. Of course many people were complaining about the storyline being a bit poor but of course who needs that when there are well over 250,000 weapons. The great thing is that every single gun I picked up during the game was slightly different in one way.

There are still two other parts on this that you have to read to get an idea on the games you will need to buy. Some women may call all of these boys toys but I have to say my girlfriend loves kicking ass on Modern Warfare. There are many places in which you can check out all of the new toys reviews.
